Want to share your love of dance with new learners, or looking to take your own dancing to the next level?
The Calgary Dance Club is gearing up for the 2019-2020 dance year, and we’re starting off with a Boot Camp to train and select this year’s volunteer teaching assistants and instructors.
When: 7:00pm – 9:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (August 13, 15, 20, 22, 2019).
Allocation and assignment of duties is on Thursday, August 29th. Our first TA training session of the year will be will be on Thursday, September 6th.
Where: Grace Presbyterian Church (1009 15th Ave SW, Calgary, AB)
(Free parking available behind the church with parking “pass” available inside the back entrance door of the church.)
Cost: $50/person (plus annual Club membership $10/person)
Register online or by cash or cheque at the first class.
Even if you do not intend to become a TA/Instructor, this Boot Camp is an excellent once-a-year opportunity to learn the finer details of technique from our professional instructor.

Please note: qualifying for a TA or Instructor has a few prerequisites:
1) You are able to communicate clearly in English
2) a) You were a TA or Instructor for the Club in the 2018-2019 season
b) You have completed at least TWO YEARS in Level 2 or higher since 2015 at the The Calgary Dance Club
c) by special permission, those who demonstrate exceptional dancing and communication skills and have not been members of the Club in the past. Permission is granted by the executive based on recommendations by the Professional Instructor.
