Not just for the Stampede season, Two Step is a great dance for any dance floor, and a popular choice at many country bars around town (and beyond). Two Step’s unique character and technique will definitely give you a signature look on the dance floor. Look forward to plenty of turns and movement as it progresses quickly around the dance floor. And to kick things up a notch, practice dancing with your cowboy hat on!
This year, Alexandra McPherson (our Club Professional) has prepared this online program to help new beginners (or those looking to review) learn the basics of Country Two Step with a variety of foundational steps and attention to technique to make you look good on the dance floor. This class is taught as a line dance, meaning Alexandra has choreographed the key steps normally taught in Country Two Step as a series of moves (think – Two Step version of Zumba) to let you practice foundational steps from the comfort and safety of your home.
Looking for a social dance version of Beginner Country Two Step? We have that too, here.
Looking for more music to practice to? We’ll be sharing weekly practice tunes in our Facebook group as part of our Practice Tune Tuesday series.
